The Event You’ve Been Waiting For in Red Deer!  Dreaming of a fun, flower-filled day with friends?

Picture this: You, a glass of wine, a little charcuterie, and a stunning flower bouquet made by you — sounds like your kind of event, right? So, what are you waiting for?

Join us for a one-of-a-kind floral arranging experience at Uchtenhagen Farm. A few times each year, we open our farm gates to invite guests to create their own gorgeous bouquets from our farm-fresh flowers. You’ll sip wine (or a non-alcoholic beverage), snack on charcuterie, and get hands-on with your blooms. Plus, we’ll take you on a mini flower tour of the farm, where we share our best vase life secrets — what flowers to cut (or not), where to cut on the stems, and how to make your flowers last longer. You’ll leave with a beautiful bouquet and some expert tips for your next floral arrangement!

Event Details

We host intimate groups of 12 guests per event. Each ticket includes:

• Charcuterie (light snacks)

• Two glasses of wine per person (or non-alcoholic beverages)

• All the blooms you can fit in your mason jar

Before you arrive, half of the seasonal flowers and greenery will be pre-cut (depending on the date you book and what's growing at that time) and conditioned for your convenience. The rest will be ready for you to cut from the best of what’s blooming on the farm that day. All necessary tools are provided, and we'll set you up with mason jars to keep your flowers hydrated as you sip and snip. 

Dates and Times

Our Sip & Snip events are hosted during the summer months, typically in the evenings (July and August). Newsletter subscribers get the first word on upcoming dates, followed by a post on our Instagram page.

The Fine Print

• Participants must be 12 years or older.

• A liability waiver must be signed and returned before accessing the property.

• All purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

• One weather-related reschedule is allowed, pending farm schedule and growing season (subject to approval).
